Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your candles:

Before each use, trim your wick to 5mm. This will prevent any carbon build-up, known as mushrooming, on your wick, which can lead to sooting.

Trim your wick to ensure a clean burn from your candle

The first burn is the most important.

Soy wax has a “burn memory”, so the first burn must be long enough to melt the wax all the way to the edge of the jar. Otherwise your candle will tunnel, leaving a lot of excess wax and shortening the overall burn time of your candle.

Your candle should have a full melt pool after 2-3 hours

Don’t burn your candle for longer than 4 hours in one go.

Longer than this will cause your candle to burn too hot, which will evaporate off the fragrance and result in a candle that doesn’t fill your room with lovely scent on subsequent burns.
